Hey everyone! Just a short post here. Peppermint and Rosemary took Spearmint to Club 3 Degrees for his birthday. It was Second Adam's new CD release party. There were two other bands there as well. Spearmint had not been there before and liked it. He even got his picture taken with some band members. Look for that picture later.

Trying to do more cooking with the kids here and tonight Spearmint made a wonderful lasagna. Last night Peppermint made a great gourmetish alfredo pasta dish with veggies. And tonight Peppermint made homemade banana cream pie with a meringue. sooooo goooood! A certain friend has inspired me to do more baking with my kids so it was very fun having Pep do this. My mom would be proud! She makes great pies! I think we are making her personal best tomorrow night...chocolate pie! Possibly Lemon meringue too. Ginger and Nutmeg will likely do the honors.

Started school in-service for teachers today and so with mixed feelings I bid the good ol' summertime farewell. That doesn't mean I will give up on getting in a bike ride (even though I'm not supposed to with my foot thing) now and then. Where did it go??? Still I look foward to soccer season, teaching the students, and seeing what God has in store this fall. Should have a little more time to be of help to the kids with their homework since I will be teaching only 3 core classes and Elementary P.E. This was my hope for this year. It will be interesting to see how the ride goes.
